FRANKLIN, N.H. —

Law enforcement officials arrested 27 people this week in connection with an investigation into drug trafficking in Franklin.

Agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration and officers with the Franklin Police Department arrested 17 people on Tuesday and seized about $100,000 in cash, a firearm and some illegal drugs, according to officials.

Ten more arrests were made on Wednesday. In addition, officials cleared a homeless encampment that had been involved in "ongoing drug distribution," officials said.

The arrests and seizures come at the conclusion of a three-month investigation, police said.
