BOYCE, La. (WNTZ) - Two Alexandria men were arrested following a traffic stop on I-49 south that led to the seizure of nearly six pounds of fentanyl, according to the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested and charged Jermaine Dorsey, 47, Dorsey of Alexandria with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, possession of marijuana, improper window tint and no license plate light. Kyren Kentrell Dixon, 29, of Alexandria was booked for possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, possession of marijuana, officials said.
According to deputies, they made contact with the two men at a traffic stop near mile marker 93 on the morning of Aug 23. Later on, Dorsey was identified as the driver and Kentrell as the passenger.
