NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Going through airport security can be a hassle, but the Transportation Security Administration has introduced TSA PreCheck Touchless ID to make the experience smoother and more convenient.

TSA PreCheck Touchless ID enhances the security screening process with facial comparison technology for faster and more efficient identity verification.

Interested passengers must opt in with participating airlines. TSA PreCheck Touchless ID is available at participating airlines and airports: • American Airlines (EWR and LGA) • Delta Air Lines (EWR, JFK, and LGA) • United Airlines (EWR and LGA)

TSA is also looking to expand its Families on the Fly campaign, with dedicated family lanes for families with children aged 12 and under.
