JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — A federal trial in Johnstown has come to an end after a jury reached a verdict for a man involved in a 2019 bombing of a Clearfield County home that killed a woman.

Kris Nevling talked his way into a verdict of guilty. Both sides closed their cases Wednesday morning. The prosecution focused on Nevling talking at nauseam to investigators to the point of confessing to knowing details of the bombing that someone would only know if they were there.

Nevling never stopped talking during the trial. He took the stand Tuesday and admitted to knowing substantial details about the bomb, how to make a bomb and telling police he made the bomb.

He constantly leaned over to talk to his attorneys during closing remarks, reacting to any piece of evidence that could be convicting.
