SHERIDAN, Wyo. – After a driver attempted to flee a traffic stop on East Brundage Lane, Sheridan Police officers engaged in a high-speed chase on I-90 that led to the driver’s arrest for pursuit and reckless driving.
Sheridan police officers first saw the driver going over 80 miles-per-hour, which led them to flag the driver down for the traffic stop. Once the driver refused to stop, other officers from the Sheridan Police Department and other agencies joined the pursuit.
The fleeing driver sped through residential and business neighborhoods before entering I-90 against the flow of traffic via exit 20.
Their speed reached over 100 miler-per-hour as they raced west on the eastbound lane for several miles, before finally moving to the westbound lane of travel.
