CARBONDALE — At 9 p.m. Aug. 26, Carbondale Police officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Braden A. Dunbar, 24, of Cobden in the 400 block of East Walnut Street.

Officers determined Dunbar had an active warrant for his arrest out of South Carolina for Criminal Sexual Conduct. Officers arrested Dunbar on the warrant. During the arrest, officers found Dunbar to be in possession of a firearm and an illegal amount of suspected cannabis.
