STERLING, Va. (DC News Now) -- Cracker Barrel customers in Virginia are celebrating the return of an old look.

The popular national restaurant chain announced Tuesday it will not change its logo, roughly a week after it said it would.

"I think it's the best thing they ever did," said Trask Buxton, a customer from Landsdown.

He's not the only one who feels that way.

"Why change, and it's iconic. It's there," said Brian Bochicchio of Oakton. "It was changed for the wrong reason."

Cracker Barrel cooked up a ton of controversy on Aug. 18 when it announced its plans to change the "old timer" logo and give its restaurants a "modern look."
