ANSONIA, Conn. (WTNH) — An electric bike armed robbery led to the arrest of two other suspects on narcotics charges on Tuesday in Ansonia, police said.

Police initially responded to a reported robbery where a juvenile victim was robbed of his electric bike at gunpoint, according to Ansonia police.

Another suspect was observed operating the stolen bike shortly after. It was abandoned on Sunset Drive, where it was recovered.

While additional officers were conducting surveillance in the area, they located a vehicle that they believed one of the suspects was in. After conducting a motor vehicle stop, a 17-year-old was located and taken into custody. Officers found a loaded firearm and narcotics in the juvenile's possession.
