NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) - Dozens of hotels and resorts line South Ocean Boulevard in North Myrtle Beach. Once more is set to be added to that lineup with a name many will recognize.

On Monday, HALL Structured Finance (HSF), a Dallas-based group, announced it had closed on a $68.5 million construction loan to develop a Compass by Margaritaville in North Myrtle Beach. According to a release from the company, the hotel will help fill a hospitality gap in the city and bring a "much-needed food and beverage dining option to the beachfront."

North Myrtle Beach Mayor Marilyn Hatley echoed the group's statement, saying it was time for a new hotel to make its way to Crescent Beach.

"We certainly have a lot of high-end condos and condotels," Hatley said. "But we don't have a high-end hote
