JEANERETTE, La. (KLFY) -- The City of Jeanerette will be conducting a city-wide hydrant flush starting tonight and tomorrow night at 9 p.m.
The City of Jeanerette informs residents to prepare by filling water in pitchers prior to flushing for everyday use such as use such as drinking, cooking etc.
Officials said when the flushing is taking place, the water quality may be temporarily be reduced and they may experience different water pressure. They warned residents to plan ahead with household tasks such as dishwashing, laundry and showering may result in the discoloration and staining of your clothes or household items.
