THE Cleveland Browns made a roster decision regarding Deshaun Watson that hints at the veteran's future.
The Browns have recently made numerous moves at the quarterback position with just days until the start of the 2025 NFL season.
On Tuesday, the Browns announced that Watson will begin the 2025 season on the reserve/physically unable to perform list.
The three-time Pro Bowler will continue to recover from a torn Achilles.
As a result, Watson will not be eligible to play for at least the first four games of the campaign.
However, he will likely miss the entire 2025 season due to his injury.
Watson has two years left on his current contract worth $230 million.
Due to his disappointing play, he has fallen out of favor with not just the fans, but even team co-owner Jimmy Haslam
