FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons have placed edge rusher Bralen Trice on injured reserve, the organization announced Thursday.

Head coach Raheem Morris said Trice aggravated the same knee that kept him off the field for the full 2024 season. Morris continued by saying the Falcons do not know the severity of the injury, but that it could mean a procedure is on the horizon for the second-year edge rusher.

"If it's the best-case scenario we have discussed, it is the bye (week)," Morris said in terms of a potential return for Trice.

Trice was listed on the teams' initial roster Tuesday prior to being placed on injured reserve. Therefore, he will be available to return this season, as Morris said. Players who go on injured reserve during the season must miss a minimum of four game
