CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Julie Brooks has been appointed as the new borough manager of Clearfield Borough, filling a position that has been vacant since December 2022.

Brooks began her role this week, bringing experience from her previous position with Bellefonte Borough. Her appointment comes as the community has expressed concerns about workflow disruptions due to the absence of a manager.

"I'm very excited to get started with this position. To move projects forward. Some of the projects have been moving slow, so I certainly hope to move things along and this is a wonderful community so I am very happy to come and serve the residents and council," Brooks said.
