ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — The new mural that will be on display in Downtown Altoona is almost complete.
The mural artist, Sarah Garber, said she is close to the finish line and feeling excited. There are still a lot of details to add in, but Garber said it feels like a lot of progress.
The mural is 50 feet wide and 18 feet tall. So far, it features a flashlight and several buildings.
"My hope is that this mural just continues to live on and shine that light on Blair County. Pun intended. Just all the wonderful things that are here and just bring some bright and, like, brightness and color to the space too," Garber said.
Since starting the mural in May, several people have stopped by to see it.
