CAMERON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Innovation Center in Cameron County held an open house Wednesday, showcasing its potential as a driver of economic development in the small town of Emporium.
The center aims to attract visitors and businesses to the county, which could boost the local economy by increasing demand for services such as dining and lodging.
"The more times we can get people to come to Cameron County to use a facility like this, then they're going to need gas, they're probably gonna eat some place, they may spend the night. It's an economic driver for the entire town," Executive Director of the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce Tina Solak said.
