TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The fourth day of testimony in the murder trial of Donna Adelson featured mostly law enforcement tasked with piecing together the intricate conspiracy that led to Florida State University Professor Dan Markel ’s 2014 murder.

The headliner this afternoon featured a shift in focus to the undercover operations at the center of the years-long investigation following Markel’s killing.

In April 2016, an FBI agent pretending to be a member of a gang approached Donna Adelson on the street in South Florida.

Chief Assistant State Attorney Georgia Cappleman asked the agent about the purpose of that meeting, known as a bump.
