MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of McAllen on Wednesday announced some of the celebrity guests for this year's holiday parade.

This year's guests include Argentine actor, model Julian Gil, University of Miami Women's Basketball twins Haley and Hanna Cavinder, Garfield the Cat, and Ronald McDonald.

"So Santa is taking a road trip across America. Lots of opportunities to engage with us on all of our social media platforms. Tell us where Santa is for a chance to win some great prizes," said McAllen City Manager Isaac Tawill.

Now in its 12th year, the McAllen Holiday Parade will begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, from McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium.
