KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Clay County family has filed a lawsuit against Roblox after a 15-year-old boy was sexually exploited by a predator from the video game platform.

The Roblox Corporation develops and operates the popular video game platform used by millions of children worldwide. The corporation is facing numerous lawsuits that accuse it of enabling child sexual exploitation and failing to protect children from predators.

This lawsuit out of Clay County, Missouri seeks to hold Roblox accountable for "recklessly and deceptively operating its business" in a way that led to the sexual exploitation of a teenage boy.
