NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- This week, Port KC announced plans for a $100 billion data center in the Northland.

“The data center itself is a $100 billion investment for the Northland over the course of 35 years of the bonds,” said Meredith Hoenes, Director of Communications for Port KC.

The center will be built at the KCI 29 Logistics Park.

“KCI 29 Logistics Park is the first mega site in the state of Missouri for industrial, commercial and logistical means. It is 3300 acres. This project is now our third project (there) and is in partnership with Hunt Midwest,” Hoenes explained.

Port KC staffers say the campus will bring critical development infrastructure, significant community investment, and long-term economic growth.
