AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - One of Augusta’s biggest events is officially less than a month away.
Arts in the Heart is September 19-21, but for the first time in years, it won’t be on the iconic sidewalks of Broad Street.
Downtown construction work means the festival is moving off Broad Street and back towards the Savannah River.
“Everyone’s worked really, really hard just to make sure that we can have a great festival this year,” said Denise Tucker, executive director of the Greater Augusta Arts Council.
The festival will still be in the Augusta Common, but also on Reynolds Street and the Riverfront.
