YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- The Youngstown City School District unveiled a new area dedicated to teaching students how to operate and maintain machines used in modern manufacturing.

A former storage room at the back of Youngstown's Choffin Career and Technical Center was dedicated as its new Advanced Manufacturing Lab at a ceremony on Wednesday.

Alex Hertzer runs the Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition, which donated $10,000 toward setting up the lab.

At the dedication ceremony, it was mentioned that people running factories are not concerned about raw materials or access to resources, but rather the people needed to work in them.
