A 32-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in connection with two armed robberies perpetrated at gas stations in Randolph in the last week.
Alain McDonald of Randolph was charged with two counts of armed and masked robbery with a firearm, Randolph police said in a statement . He is also a suspect in an armed robbery in Quincy.
“The Randolph Police Department would like to thank the Quincy Police Department and the FBI Violent Crime Task Force for their assistance during this investigation,” Randolph Police Chief Marag said in a statement. “The professionalism of our officers, the hard work of our detectives and their teamwork with our fellow law enforcement agencies resulted in a dangerous criminal being taken off the streets.”
