SPRINGFIELD, MO - A brand new DMV licence office looks to be coming to the city’s south side.

The video marquee on Liberty Commons Shopping Center, located at 3433 South Campbell just south of Walnut Lawn, advertises, “Coming Soon: South Springfield Licence Office.” The sign also states the facility will open on October 8th and be operated by the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.

There is no additional signage on the building itself designating exactly which storefront will house the office.

The new office would fill a gap left when the former southside DMV on Battlefield Road, near Food 4 Less, suddenly closed back in May. At the time, the Missouri Department of Revenue stated the office was closed because the contractor decided not to renew the lease. The space was then converte
