BRYAN, Texas (KWTX) - A mother in Bryan, Texas, is speaking out after her 11-year-old son was a victim of bullying back in March

“They touched something so valuable for me, my son,” Teresa Cisneros, mother of Luchito, said.

Hector De Santiago, a Bryan ISD student known affectionately as Luchito, wanted to experience what riding the bus was all about. He never imagined a bus ride would leave him scarred and bruised.

“They began calling him names because of his physical appearance. Because my son is chubby and is of brown skin, they began laughing at him and asking him to prove he was a black belt,” Cisneros said.

In an instant, the verbal attack turned into physical aggression.

Luchito said he didn’t want to fight, and endured hits to his head leaving him with multiple injuries.
