KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knoxville police responded to the Sequoyah Hills boat ramp on Wednesday after a fisherman hooked into a World War II-era explosive device.
According to a post from The Knoxville Police Department, a fisherman was on the ramp off Cherokee Boulevard when he hooked into an object 20 feet from the shore. KPD said EOD personnel evaluated the device and sent it to the U.S. Army in Cookeville.
