GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - There will be a special guest in attendance for the Florida season opener. Ahmad Black got the call to be the first celebrity “Mr. Two Bits” of the 2025 season.

The Gator great started all 14 games at safety in Florida’s 2008 National Championship season, finishing with 59 tackles, a team-high seven interceptions, and two touchdowns. Then, two years later, Black was honored as a first-team All-SEC and first-team All-America selection.

One of the best and most accomplished Gator defensive backs of his time kicks off the 13th year of the celebrity “Mr. Two Bits” tradition this Saturday, when the Florida Gators take on the Long Island Sharks.
