MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A West Memphis, Arkansas woman is charged with first-degree murder and other crimes after police say she strangled her sister to death.
Angie Lynn Dover, 47, was booked into the Crittenden County jail Tuesday on $150,000 bond.
The West Memphis Police Department said officers responded to a 911 call on May 19 in the 400 block of North 32nd St.
They found 42-year-old Ashley Kellim dead. Police sent Kellim's body the Medical Examiner's office.
According to the West Memphis Police Department, Kellim's cause of death was strangulation.
WMPD said Dover confessed to killing her sister.
In addition to murder, Dover also is charged with assaulting a family or household member and tampering with evidence.
