LEXINGTON, N.C. — A man died after a shooting at a Lexington concrete plant on Wednesday evening, according to police.

Police said officers responded around 5:30 p.m. to Johnson Concrete on Burgin Drive for a report of a shooting.

Inside one of the warehouses, they found 21-year-old Omarion Scott, of Lexington, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police said he died at the scene from his injuries.

Tyrese Cheek, 21, of Lexington, was later arrested and charged with murder in connection with the shooting.
