COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Multiple people were transported to a local medical center after a crash involving a Putnam County ambulance and a motorcycle happened Wednesday morning.
According to Putnam County officials, the crash occurred around 10:20 a.m. Wednesday on Willow Avenue in Cookeville.

Officials said a Putnam County ambulance was transporting a patient non-emergently when a motorcycle hit the rear of the ambulance.
According to county officials, the ambulance crew and patient were taken to Cookeville Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. The motorcyclist was in critical condition and transported to the medical center.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
