He was part of a team of security experts living at WDSU, protecting our journalists and assisting with any law enforcement efforts in the area.

Larkin is now a co-host of the reality television series "On Patrol: Live," which airs on the Reelz Network.

Larkin also hosts "Crime Cam 24/7" on Fox Nation.

Larkin has traveled the country covering disasters and says the destruction he witnessed in New Orleans in 2005 remains unmatched.

"This was like nothing we'd seen before," Larkin said.
