SILVER CREEK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — One person was hospitalized after a crash in front of a township hall in Cass County Wednesday, deputies say.

Around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, a 66-year-old Dowagiac man was driving east on Dixon Street near Indian Lake Road and turned left into Silver Creek Township Hall. He turned into the path of a westbound vehicle driving by a 27-year-old Hartford woman and the two crashed, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

A passenger in the man’s vehicle, a 64-year-old Dowagiac woman, was taken to the hospital with injuries. There was no other report of injuries.
