LEXINGTON, N.C. — A Lexington man was charged after police said they found a large amount of drugs and several weapons during a traffic stop.

On Friday, August 22, the Lexington Police Department said they conducted a traffic stop on 45-year-old Kevin Hargrave and found 10 pounds of methamphetamine in his car. He was arrested, and the drugs were seized from the car, according to police.

Police then searched his home on Price Road, where they seized one ounce of cocaine, eight grams of heroin, an AR-15-style rifle, and a handgun.

Police charged Hargrave with the following:

Two counts of trafficking methamphetamine

Trafficking heroin

Possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine

Possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine

Manufacture/sell/deliver a controlled subs
