A four-alarm fire damaged three homes and several cars in Chester, Pennsylvania, Wednesday night.

The fire was on the 700 block of West 7th Street. Three homes were damaged, and the block was evacuated, Delaware County emergency officials said.

Thick smoke and orange flames could be seen not only on this block, but from across the area. Photos from the Eddystone Fire Company showed the blaze and other departments shared pictures of smoke rising into the sky.

Chopper 3 was over the scene around 9:30 p.m., where several firefighters were on the ground and on the roof of one of the homes amid thick smoke.

Thankfully, there were no injuries to neighbors or firefighters. Officials said this was a team effort from multiple fire departments.
