KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Two people were seriously injured following a crash Tuesday afternoon in the Northland.
The crash was reported just after 4:40 p.m. at NW Barry Road and NW Waukomis Drive, just east of Interstate 29, according to the Kansas City Police Department (KCPD).
KCPD said a motorcyclist was traveling east on Barry Road when the driver of a minivan entered the intersection to make a left turn and was struck by the motorcycle.
The driver and passenger of the motorcycle were ejected from the vehicle, according to KCPD. They were both taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.
KCPD said the driver of the motorcycle is in critical condition and the passenger is in serious condition at this time.
The driver of the minivan was not injured in the crash.
