Darwin mayoral race and other local election results won’t be settled until next month: NTEC

The long, drawn-out process to finalise Saturday’s Territory local elections is continuing, with the final results – including for close contests such as Lord Mayor of Darwin – not expected to be any clearer until Friday, September 5, when preferences will be distributed, the NT Electoral Commission said.
