A lot of eager ears awaited Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore as he took the podium late Monday morning. Right away he gave the people what they wanted, announcing freshman Bryce Underwood as the starting quarterback.

Listeners who remained tuned into the rest of the press conference heard Moore unveil a list of other starters, most notably the offensive line. And for those really paying attention, he announced one impact freshman as a starter on special teams.

“Andrew Marsh is going to play,” Moore said. “Andrew Marsh is going to be our starting kick returner. Andrew Marsh is dynamic, he’s going to touch the football.”
