Numerous reports have emerged recently regarding efforts by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and its contracted airlines to conceal deportation flights from public logs. The airlines are flying under false, so-called “dummy” callsigns to avoid being tracked by watchdog civil rights groups and members of the American public.

La Resistencia, an organization advocating against deportations, submitted a report to King 5 News in Seattle, Washington, that claims the use of dummy callsigns began in April 2025 as flights started to increase in frequency.
