AURORA, Ind. —

Body camera video shows a dramatic rescue as first responders rushed into a burning home in Indiana earlier this week.

The fire happened along Lincoln Street in Aurora, Indiana , around 8 p.m. Monday. Advertisement

The video released Wednesday shows emergency crews rushed into the home to save a 77-year-old man who was trapped inside.

“Give me your hands, give me your hands. Can you get up?” an officer is heard asking the man, who responded “just let me lay here.”

The first responder answered back “no, no, no, come on, we got to get you out sir.”

The man was rescued from the house and flown to University of Medical Center to be treated for burns and smoke inhalation.
