MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Out-of-School Time recognized 10 outstanding individuals for their work with youth, gathering Wednesday to celebrate their dedication and creativity in supporting students.
The group was honored by Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway and Madison Metropolitan School District Superintendent Joe Gothard during a ceremony at the Madison Youth Arts Center.
The celebration highlighted the work of professionals and community organizations that create safe spaces for students to learn and grow after the school day ends.
Eight adults received "Most Outstanding Youth Worker" awards, while two were recognized with "Legends of Out-of-School Time" awards.
