LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. — It's been a little over a week since Sheena Romaine's middle school-aged son, Jackson, was attacked by another student at Thunderbolt Middle School in Lake Havasu City.

"It's horrifying, to say the least," Romaine told 12News. "With the investigation going on, it's really hard to sit and tell the story again because there's so much happening with it. All I can say is: I'm standing up for my son."

Romaine said her son, who has autism, OCD, ADHD, and musculoskeletal deformities, was lured into the bathroom under the guise of receiving a "treat" by some of his peers. While one student repeatedly beat him, another blocked the door to the restroom, and another filmed the fight, later posting it to social media.
