JONESBORO — St. Bernards Healthcare and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) partnered Monday to host the “Mind and Memory Boot Camp,” a program designed to educate families and caregivers on dementia care and prevention.
The session, held at St. Bernards Imaging Center, featured communication strategies, caregiver support resources and an interactive dementia “walk-through” experience. The event is part of a series that began earlier this year and will continue every other month. kAm“(6 C62==J H2?E65 E@ 3C:?8 D@>6 65F42E:@? 324< E@ E96 4@>>F?:EJ 2?5 E@ @FC A2E:6?ED 23@FE 962=E9 28:?8 :? 86?6C2=[” D2:5 r2C=2 $>:E9[ 2DD:DE2?E 5:C64E@C @7 E96 $6?:@C w62=E9 r=:?:4 2E $E] q6C?2C5D]k^Am kAm$>:E9 D2:5 E9:D 92D 366? :?
