JONESBORO — Even as the City of Jonesboro seeks to recover the cost of tearing down the condemned former Citizens Bank building, a legal battle continues over what is now a vacant lot in the city’s downtown.
Next week, the Jonesboro City Council will consider a resolution to place a lien on that property to recover the $3,293,122.07 the city spent to remove the building which had been deemed unsafe because of numerous building code violations. Under the resolution Laurel Park LLC is identified as the owner of record. kAmqFE qCF46 qFCC@H @7 ~?6 |2:? $BF2C6 {{r[ H9:49 4=2:>65 @H?6CD9:A :?
