Purina Farms is pushing back on local social media rumors that the Gray Summit attraction could permanently close some of the buildings damaged in a March tornado.

“Online rumors about the future of Purina Farms are just that,” a Purina Farms spokesperson said in a statement. “We continue to explore options for rebuilding and reimagining the Purina Farms experience and will update the community when we have any news to share. In the meantime, most of our animals have been relocated or rehomed for safety reasons and to ensure they are given the quality of life they deserve following a very traumatic experience.” ×
