The U.S.-Canada trade war continues unresolved. Serious harms are being inflicted on both sides of the border — with no end in sight.

Not the least of that harm is headed full steam ahead — at New York State’s energy consumers. While this report was silent on tariffs specifically applicable to Canadian electricity, far more importantly, Ontario Premier Doug Ford previously, yet inadvertently, revealed their bottom-line trade war negotiating position.
