STEVENS POINT − The Stevens Point Area Public School District School Board is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy following a member’s resignation.

Board member Will Scheder vacated his seat effective Aug. 25 as he departs the district to attend Law School at the University of Wisconsin-Madison beginning with the upcoming fall semester, Dr. Cory Hirsbrunner, superintendent, said at the Aug. 11 School Board meeting.

Applications must be submitted by 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8 and are available are available in person at the Bliss Educational Services Center at 1900 Polk St. in Stevens Point or on the school district website .
