Kansas State football returns to the United States for its home opener in the Little Apple this weekend, where it hopes to get back on track.
The Wildcats will host North Dakota at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30, at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in a Week 1 college football showdown.
K-State is coming off a 24-21 loss to Iowa State in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic in Dublin, Ireland. The Wildcats remain the No. 20 team in the country. Polls weren't updated after the Week 0 schedule.
The matchup between the Wildcats (0-1, 0-1 Big 12) and the Fighting Hawks, an FCS program, will be a first. It is a rescheduled matchup that was originally scheduled for the 2020 season, which was largely impacted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Watch Kansas State vs North Dakota on ESPN+
