NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man was wounded in a shooting near Centennial Park in Nashville Wednesday night.

According to Metro police, the victim was shot in the leg. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers said one person was detained for questioning and taken into custody.

No additional information was immediately released.
