BRANDON, Fla. (WFLA)— Hillsborough County Fire Rescue battled an early morning house fire in Brandon.

Crews were dispatched to the 1000 block of North Parsons Avenue around 3:15 a.m. after reports of a house on fire.

Arriving at the home, HCFR saw heavy flames coming from a home.

"Firefighters initially advanced handlines inside to battle the blaze, but worsening conditions raised concerns about a potential roof collapse," HCFR said.

Crews safely evacuated, and an aerial apparatus was used to stop the fire.

The fire was brought under control an hour after crews arrived, HCFR said.

No one was inside the home, and no injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
