TORRINGTON — The Susan B. Anthony Project (SBAP) in Torrington received a $10,000 grant from Union Savings Bank Foundation to support the agency’s Outreach and Prevention Education Program, Executive Director Alisha Donovan announced.

SBAP provides domestic and sexual violence prevention programming to 18 towns and two cities in northwest Connecticut. Age-appropriate programs are presented to students from pre-K through grade 12 in local area schools and camps, as well as to adult community members. The organization also offers professional training and presentations to civic groups, businesses, faith communities and other partners to prevent interpersonal violence.
