(WJW) — A cold front moves through today. The morning will remain dry with a few breaks of sunshine, and then widespread showers will arrive after lunch. A few sunny breaks with spotty storms in the evening between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Beyond Thursday, the Labor Day weekend looks great — and dry. The next front arrives in the middle of next week.

Temperatures will remain slightly below normal through the Labor Day Holiday weekend. Temperatures will rise briefly on Tuesday and Wednesday, then fall below normal the first weekend of September. The cooler pattern looks to stay in place through the first 10 days of September.
